I apologize for not putting any football picks out for week 1. I got my ass handed to me on Saturday, though did very well on the NFL Sunday. A few comments...
As I said I got my ass handed to me, most visibly by my National Champion pick, Michigan. They lost to the Irish at home somehow, and are out of it. Luckily my NFL picks for the season look a little better. The Colts and Chiefs both looked great yesterday, my top 2 AFC teams. It's only 1 game, but I think both defenses proved they are vastly improved, giving up 7 points each (though each TD scored by their opponents were with under :30 left, so I consider them technical shutouts). My top 2 NFC teams are playing right now on MNF, and both look pretty good. My NFC Super Bowl pick, Atlanta, is up 14-0 right now, so hopefully it continues.
Now that I am back in town keep an eye out for regular blog updates. I will also try getting football picks each week out here, but unfortunately because of a certain pool look for them around 11:00 on Saturdays. So some college picks may be late, but my NFL picks will always be out before Sunday. If I like the Thursday and Friday night games my picks will be here as well.
