OK, I'm going to make this quick since games start in 15 minutes. Though I guess none of my picks are early - they are all afternoon games.
1* Houston -1 Over Oklahoma St - OSU has had a very solid year to this point, but they haven't gone up against any talented teams yet, and will struggle against a very QB in Kolb.
2* Texas -24` Over Iowa St - Texas bounced back nicely last week after losing to Ohio St the week before, and Iowa St's weak defense will not be able to stop this offense, and will struggle, as they have all season, with moving the ball against a great UT defense. Texas should put up at least 45 points and cover easily.
3* Kent +7 Over Bowling Green - Kent is one of the most underrated teams in the country, and it is all based on going 1-10 last season, then started the season with a misleading blowout loss to Minnesota. They got a great win last week at Miami (OH), and should have beat Army on the road the week before. Kent goes in and beats an overrated BG team straight up, so definitely take the 7 points.
4* Kansas -4 Over South Florida - This is another one of those games I just can't figure out why the line is so low. Kansas went into Toledo last week, holding Toledo to absolutely zero offense in the 2nd half, but just couldn't pull out the win. Kansas is by far a better overall team than USF, and have the home field. Jump on KU.
5* Arkansas -2 Over Alabama - Before 20 minutes ago, this was my 2nd favorite game of the week. However I found out that this is my favorite handicapper's 5* game of the month for September. So now it is my favorite game of the week. Arkansas is one of the most undervalued teams in the country right now, as they have not played well, but really focus and get up for this game, and win it by 2 TD's.
