College Picks for Saturday, 11/12

For those of you who missed the show last night, too bad for you. It was probably the best show I've ever seen in Omaha. All the bands were great, though we missed Willy Mason. Anyway, here are my picks for today. I feel really strong about all of these games and put a BET THIS GAME on all 5. Hopefully I can continue where I left off last week. Here they are...

1 - Georgia -3 Over Auburn - Georgia is so undervalued right now because of that loss to Florida. However that loss was without their star QB Shockley. With Shockley Georgia is a top 5 team. Auburn isn't even close to this. Georgia has the advantage on both offense and defense, plus home field, and I love this one.

2 - Arkansas St -3 Over Troy St - These small college games get overlooked by everyone, including Vegas sometimes. Ark St got blown away last week, but are a far better team than that, and as a result we get serious line value.

3 - Idaho +9` Over LA Tech - Idaho has only won 2 games this year, but have decent talent and a lot of heart. LA Tech has been outstanding at home, but not too great on the road, and I'll take the large point home dog.

4 - Purdue -22 Over Illinois - Purdue in the preseason was one of the best defenses on paper, but didn't show it on the field. A few weeks ago they basically quit. But they got a spark last week holding Mich St to their lowest yards of the season, and there is new life in the minds of the Purdue players. Illinois has one of the worst defenses in the country. Purdue is now settled on a QB, and he is very mobile, which Illinois has struggled against this year. Purdue wins by 4 TD's at least.

5 - BYU -4` Over Wyoming - I've been taking BYU a lot this year, and for good reason. Their passing offense is unstoppable. Wyoming has a tough defense, but will not be able to stop the fired up passing attack of BYU, and home field will not do Wyoming one ounce of good.

Good Luck everyone!
