College Picks for Saturday, 11/26

Sorry I haven't been posting but I haven't really felt like it. But as always, I have my college picks for you. Last week was solid at 4-3. It could have been better with some flukey covers against me, but it could have been worse too as lots of the games were very close. How about those Huskers yesterday? They played their best game under Callahan. Now I am much more excited for the bowl, hopefully they can continue. Below will be my top 5 picks, and a BET THIS GAME goes on each one of them. There are a few others I like too which I'll mention at the end. Here we go...

1 Florida -4 Over Florida St - Florida is a far better team right now, with a better QB, better offense, better defense, and will simply dominate this game. They will be a pissed off bunch off a loss to Spurrier and FSU's inept offense won't score at all against a very good defense.

2 Memphis -10 Over Marshall - Marshall is still overvalued on name only. They are a bad football team. Memphis has been up and down all year, but clearly have a giant edge in talent. Their young O-line has really come around lately and I expect more improvement in this game. DeAngelo Williams in his last game at home gets the job done, running for well over 150 and Memphis wins by 3 TD's or more.

3 Idaho +7 Over San Jose - Talent-wise Idaho has a big edge, and this will be a hard fought game between 2 bad teams. San Jose is overvalued after rolling to an easy win last week over a team that simply gave up (New Mexico St). I'll side with the better team in this one and Idaho wins straight up on the road.

4 Mississippi St +2 Over Mississippi - Two very equal teams on St's home field. Home field is where this game gives the big advantage, and Miss St wins a close one.

5 LA Tech +7 Over Boise St - Boise is not a very good football team on the road, and LA Tech loves the home field. LA Tech will be able to move the ball easily and I expect LA Tech's defense to step up and play well, and LA Tech wins this one by a TD.

Other games I like are Notre Dame, Kansas, North Carolina, Maryland, Louisville, and for tomorrow take the Titans. Good luck!!!
