My First Blog Entry

For my first ever blog entry I didn't really know what to discuss. I could discuss the nomination of John Roberts to the Supreme Court from last night, but I don't know anything about him. People on the Left are complaining that he's too activist, people on the Right are already attacking the Left for attacking Roberts. Amazing, it's divided! Thanks a lot, George. Based on what I've read so far though it does not look good, and Roberts is obviously not anywhere near an equal replacement to Sandra Day O'Connor. I could also discuss the Big 12 Media Days, but Nebraska is just getting there so I'll wait on that too. But I am looking forward to what should be an amazing improvement this season.

So for my first entry I have decided to talk about my life. For those that don't know I just bought a house. It is located at 49th and Webster, which is 1 block north of Underwood (Dundee area). It has 3 bedrooms, though one of those would be a terrible bedroom, so it is an office. It has hardwood floors in the living room and dining room, and a newly remodeled kitchen. The basement is finished - with a bar! My roommate is my friend Sarah Ann Lewis. She is extremely busy studying for the bar next week. The house was built in 1915 so it has some work that needs to be done, but it is in great shape for being that old. I love the location - it is my favorite area of Omaha.

I am also finishing up school. I have been in a year-long Accelerated Bachelors Degree Program for MIS. I have 4 weeks left in the program, so I am almost done! After that I just have a few credit hours and then I will have my degree and my 13 year college life will be complete!

That is all for me. For the rest of my family, my Mom just moved to Denver and lives with my sister Kathleen and her husband Michael (and his daughter Sarah also stays there from time to time). Kathleen, Michael, and Sarah, and my stepbrother Andy and his wife Paula came into town a few weeks ago and we took family pictures. I will post some of them once I get them edited to attach to my blog, so keep an eye out for those.

I plan to update this every few days or so at least. There should be places for comments, discussion, and other things on my blog, plus I will have links to my favorite Websites. So bookmark it and check it out every once in a while and send me any comments you would like.
