The Hussein trial began yesterday, and was just as quickly continued until late November. What I find interesting is the reason for the trial - he is charged with ordering the killings of more than 140 Iraqis in Dujail in 1982 following an attempt to assassinate Hussein when he was visiting the town.
OK, so Hussein is charged with killing 140 Iraqis. 140? Let's look at someone else - President Bush. This is his war in Iraq...
U.S. Military Deaths in Iraq = 1979
Iraqi Civilian Deaths = 26,661
Total = 28,640!
So Bush is responsible for 28,640 while Hussein 140 (yes, I know he may have killed more, but I'm making a point). When does the Bush trial begin? I'd like to see this.
